Natural light on a natural beauty!

The most important thing you can do for your boudoir session is to come prepared to have fun! You have carefully picked out your outfits and spent time on you hair and makeup, so now simply let the images flow!

Of course there are some practical things you can do to help ensure amazing photos. They are simple and easy.

  • Day of your session wear loose fitting and comfortable clothes. You don’t want lines in your skin from a tight waistband. The images can be cleaned up in photo editing but it’s always best to not need that.
  • Make sure you hydrate well for a couple of days prior. Your skin will have a natural glow if you make sure your water intake is good.
  • Hair and makeup can be touched up in the studio but it’s best to spend time prior to arrival getting it ready. I suggest a medium application of makeup because lighting and editing can easily accent it if need but it’s harder to soften it.
  • Pick 2-3 outfits of different looks. I suggest one or two lingerie outfits that you’re comfortable in and one outfit that is different. For example, a loose fitting baggy shirt or a robe.
  • Remember that looking sexy doesn’t always mean showing more skin. More often than not, what you don’t see makes the images even better with intrigue!
  • Last tip is what I started this post with… HAVE FUN!
